You can help us hold the School Board accountable. Here's how.
1. Register for updates on the Contact Us page. You being informed may seem simple, but it is the single easiest and best way for us to hold our School Board members accountable to YOU.
2. Attend a School Board meeting. These guys are used to operating in the dark and they actually have to turn the light on when you show up.
3. Vote! July 2010 Jimmy Bartlett and Sam Haskell are both up for re-election. We'll be keeping a report card of all the board members at DouglasvilleNOW. We hope you'll trust our judgement and appreciate the facts we've provided in helping you make an informed decision.
4. Call and email your board member. They get lonely when they never hear from anyone and start to do stupid things.
5. If you hear a board member doing something well, call or email them to let them know.
6. TELL US. You are our eyes and ears. We will be effective if you allow us to be the central repository of information about the school system. If something is being rumored, give us the scoop and we'll get to the facts for you.
